Hi, Please be informed that you can't use WD easystore hard drive as an extra internal memory. It meant for extra external storage.

Yes, after you plug in the DC charger and the USB plug into your device you can save memory by adding large videos and digital files to the external WD easystore. You may then take them off of your computer (deleting them) to make more memory after saving the files to the easystore drive.
