Yes u can I have the call of duty advance warfare with the 1tb and all I do is download my games and I have over 40 games downloaded and I have um all saved to the 3tb external hdd and my system runs faster and more stable I love it

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I do not use mine for that, but have seen a lot of other people talking about using it for that. But, do not waste your money. Go with a better drive. These things are pure garbage. They last just long enough to outlast the warranty, and for you to give them a favorable review. Then the internal parts, which WD knows are going to fail, fail. Then you have lost all of your data, and it is extremely expensive to recover.
