Yes it will, you just need to plug it in connect it to your PS4 via the USB, Format it and you should be good to go

If performance matters, you're better off using drives designed for heavy read/write use. Many if not most external drives don't have enough cache or fast enough platter spin to make them useful. Think about it like this, would you buy and HP Envy notebook or and ASUS ROG laptop for gaming. Same concept, design and engineering. You get what you pay for when gaming. Buy the HDDs designed for use with gaming consoles, you'll have less aggravation and less data loss...imagine losing all your Fallout progress due to a cheap drive!
