First off this isn't a NAS. Prices on this drive vary as it goes on sale. But when I bought mine, it costs less than what a pair of 8TB Red drives would cost. So on cost alone this is a better deal. If you want the best configuration you would be better off buying an empty unit and adding the best drives you can afford.
