I can access my NAS from different computers that use different OSs (Linux, Windows, OS X). It is available via a Samba share and any of these OSs can access the NAS drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The NAS is a Standalone machine, so if you have Windows, Mac or Linux you can acces it. As long as they have a web browser you can use to access this NAS for setup and creating shares then you are good. http://mycloudex2ultra.local/ Will get you to the login or you can always go by the IP address. You can even acces this with a smart phone as well. There is Also an iOS app, that can be used for auto backups. Not sure about android though. Works well with time machine backup for Mac OS as well. Once you are logged in you can setup shared folders and then access them from different OS's as well. Windows: \\ip (file explorer) Mac: Go to > Connect to Server Linux too
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device attaches to your home network, so it will be available to any device that can connect to that network. (assuming you don't use security to prevent open usage) You can set up PUBLIC (open access) and PRIVATE (restricted) shares on the drive to suit your needs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just format your drives with NTFS. Most OS's can read NTFS format.
