Could I put larger hard drives in it? null

I believe that you can. You have to swap them one drive at a time, so the drives can be built. Make sure you buy a NAS drvie so they will last longer, as they are made for NAS's. As I recall when I changed the setting and had to rebuild a 4TB drive, it took for ever (maybe a day +, I don't remember exactly, but it was long).
