No, it does not allow network access. You would need something like a Buffalo storage device.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hold on Tex...dont' be so quick to say it will scan to copiers/MFDs! I speak from TONS of experience here! I am a recently-retired network tech from a MAJOR MFD manufacturer. The company name is the one synonymous with copiers. Scanning via SMB to a NAS was almost always a freakin' nightmare! There were only a handful of brands that would work without serious MFD software modifications. And those don't always come free, and it is deemed to be billable, it is VERY expensive. The ones that worked without modifications were NetApps, and a few others. NetApps is an enterprise-level product. You will not find these in your average home. Bottom line is this. If you want to scan from a copier, use a TRUE Windows file share. Or use FTP...but not on a MAC file share. I don't know if they ever solved that riddle. Anyway, hope this helps!
