Can you used Plex with this personal network set up? null

Yes we are using PLEX successfully with this device

Yes. The Plex app can be downloaded from the MyCloud setup site.

I don't believe this will run the Plex media server software - But you can use it to store plex files (movies, music, photos) on your network

Plex will work perfectly as you are describing. I have a similar setup in my network and it works flawlessly. I would suggest a Linux box to manage the media and serve to devices just as a server...
