Sounds terrible, how frustrating that must have been. And I know, I have had a similar experience. Based on my similar experience, I decided that I would never reformat a card until I have confirmed that I have my photos saved in two different spots. I even take the step to back all the way out of whatever program or storage media I am using and then go back in to see if the photos are there. As far as your specific question, I suspect that the photos are simply gone, sorry to say. It is my understanding that reformatting a card, whether big, small, an SD or any other type of card, causes the card to be wiped clean. This is different than the hard drive in your computer, or even on an external hard drive. Speaking of which; when I am traveling, I back up my photos every night to an external hard drive, just to be sure. The practice is likely a waste of time 99 out of a 100 times. But I can guaranty that some of my favorite shots would be lost the one time I did not back them up. good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you haven’t taken anymore pictures, probably you can still get them back. I would go to a near computer store and see if they can find anything. Files aren’t really deleted, they just become rewritable to the computers eyes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is software to recover lost files from SD cards. I don't know know what's current. Saved my butt once. It's probably not the files but the directory that is the problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Take the SD card to a reputable data recovery company. They may not be able to recover all of them but they should be able to recover a majority.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would call Geek Squad to answer that. If the info wasn't written over the 400 images (minus the 6 new ones you took) should be recoverable.
