• Hi curiosity​​​​​​​, Please be informed that the WD My Passport drive is a plug-and-play device tested and designed for Windows and macOS. If you have enabled the password protection on the drive then the data can be viewed only after the drive gets unlocked. The drive needs to be formatted in case of a forgotten password.
