A:AnswerYes it’s working you just go to the file folder on the bottom tool bar and open it and it should be there as drive F: or is on my cpu then you just save files to it as you would to your documents or desk top. When your done then you unmount the same as a flash drive.
A:AnswerIt won't download anything until you tell it to. Check File Explorer to see if your laptop even recognized the drive. If it did, it will show up there and be available for file transfers.
A:AnswerLooking into that now, after my P4 did a system update some thing changed. The P4 says it needs to be attached directly which it is??? So there appears to be something keep it from communicating to each other for an extended storage.
A:AnswerNo the passport has to be hooked up to a PC (or Laptop). The passport is just a memory card basically. It doesn't have it's own built in Wi-Fi or whatever to receive and process data on its own. But it's super handy, easy to install and unistall at any USB port available, and easy to find when you're looking for it on the computer. I have to say that is a cool idea though. i'm pretty sure an app like Drop Box or One Drive will help you though. Just instantly send pics you've taken to the app and they're instantly available on all devices you have registered with either of them. Good Luck.
A:AnswerYes it does. That’s why I bought it and have been using it for this purpose for months with no issues. PS4 will just prompt you to format it for use as an extended storage device. Very simple process.
