WD offers backup software for their drives for free with the purchase of the drive. There are also free options. I do not recommend using an SSD drive for backup of important files and would rather use a HDD. SSDs have a shorter lifespan than actual hard disk drives. Unless you need the transfer speed that a solid state drive offers.
