• yes, plug and play. the ps4 reformats the hard drive. plug it in took 2 minutes. the ps4 setup was easy.

• Yes. The new update released on March 9th allows use of USB 3.0 External HDD to install apps/games now.

• Yes, we bought a converter to go along with it so we have more space on our PS4 to save game files without having to delete them. It is perfect for that - gives you more room for more games. I would definitely suggest using this if you want that benefit. See the converter attached we bought as well. Works perfect!!
