A:AnswerYes, it will. I have used these drives on my Windows PC, which has both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connections. Both of the USB connections support read and write operations.
A:AnswerYes but depending on what file format your format it with, u might not be able to write on it using or Mac, only read. Mine is formatted NFTS and works on both but limited use on Mac. Of course you can also format it specifically for Mac or pc and only use it on one.
A:AnswerI'm using it on my Dish Wally receiver, and it works fine. The light on it blinks constantly. I don't know if that's normal for the hard drive on these units or not, but so far it's working fine.
A:AnswerYes. That’s why I got a different second hard drive after I ran out of space. Cause it was cheaper. You should be able to as long as you format the hard drive for whatever system you will be using it for. I used my passport for my pc and the 3tb easy one for my Xbox one
A:AnswerDVR expander sounds just like a generic term for something to expand your DVR with. This particular one is a two terabyte drive and that's what they recommend... and that's what I use, most work just fine! Occasionally I run into one that has a problem but most the time these type of drives are just fine I've used almost a dozen now external 2 terabyte hard drives some with power and some without...this particular Drive is the first one I've had a glitch on some of the videos I transfered. Hopefully I can reformat it again and that will solve it!
A:AnswerNo this is like a USB drive but super fast. You can't take it apart without breaking it. I don't know about the warranty on it. It is a whole lot easier to use than a hard drive in a enclosure.
