• A:Answer None. Once you have bought the device there is no charge unless you want to use it with iCloud. I don’t use mine with iCloud, although you could for a small fee. How much iCloud charges you will depend upon how much space you want to buy. If you are storing in iCloud there is a small fee but if you place everything on your disk, there is no fee at all once you’ve purchase the disk.
