Yes, as long as the external drive is at least as large as your internal drive you can back up everything
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Some systems will allow you to copy the c drive to your portable device by doing simple copy and paste. I would suggest doing the same with the portioned section normally marked D drive. If this don't work you can buy a docking station ( less than $100.00) that will allow you to back up to an internal spare hard drive and they are clones.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like you need a double drive if you want that..this will successfully back up everything on your drive. And you could copy to the same os on another drive. Hope this helps...it works well for me
