Yes. You'll have to reformat it for HFS since it comes formatted as NTFS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I format my new drives to a fat 32. Install the WD app so Mac will read the 4T. Mac usually only reads 2T. Also cheaper to buy and reformat to a fat 32 then to buy one for just mac. I transfer files from windows to my MacBook and back no problem. Hope this helped.
