“Can this be used to download videos and photos from a Go Pro Hero 7 Black to the external drive without being hooked up to a PC? I'm looking for some way to offload the videos and photos I have on the memory card when traveling and my mac is not available”

• Not completely sure but I would assume not. Unless you can control the GoPro as a medium, You most likely need some source to help initiate the exchange or transfer like a pc/Mac. My opinion only
