“Can I transfer photos, videos from a windows PC and then access them on a iMac using this? Just went from a Windows PC to a mac and wanted to save all my files but still be able to get to them via my mac.”

• The Mac will require an NTFS file reader.

• No, need to format each unit to Mac or Windows. That is why I had to purchase two, one for my windows pc and one for my mac.

• Yes, as long as you format it in Ex-FAT or FAT before you put any files on it. This can be done in the Disk Utility application on a Mac. Make sure the external hard drive is selected. Click erase and then change the format.
