“I just purchased this WD My Passport for Mac to use with my Microsoft Go to backup some photos. When I plug it in it's being recognized but it says the drive is unavailable. Is there something I can do to make this say available?”

Hi Janae, Please know, the WD My Passport for mac is pre- reformatted for macOS. In order to use this drive on your windowsOS you have to reformat this drive into the compatible file system such as NTFS or EXFAT.
