• If you get the one that says “for MAC” —- not the one that says “for MAC or PC” you will be fine and don’t need any other software. Beware, I had to send one back that wanted additional software, and I didn’t want to be bothered with all of that.

• I took it out of the box and plugged it into my mac and used it immediately, no intermediate steps needed.
