“Since encrypted how can I read or edit? The WD Passport I currently backup saved everything encrypted in garbly goop so I can't read the file name, let alone document name when I open the Passport drive.”

• You did something wrong. Erase it and save it correctly. The machine cannot encrypt unless you tell it to.
