• I have an older style of the My Passport (bought a few years ago). Mine works fine with Ubuntu, so long as you don't activate the smartware lock that WD puts on the drives.

• Don't know about Red Hat but I use Kali, Deepin and Ubuntu with no problem.

• Yes. If the Red Hat Linux operating system can use standard USB devices so it will work with this hard drive.
