• No. Most DVRs have a USB input that you can connect the WD My Passport to. Understand that this is a "backup" drive and you will be able to copy recordings from your DVR to the My Passport. I don't believe an external hard drive connected to any DVR can be treated as the "primary" drive for direct recordings.
