If you're asking, as in if you have steam, and use it as the main hard drive for storage and you use it at home, but also want to take it with you to a relative or friends house and play games from it, yes it's possible. I have all my games on steam installed on one and have a dual motherboard pc, i can just swap it between the two different pc's without any issues.
