“I own a ps4-ps5 and use a hard drive. I leave my gaming devices on rest mode and on rare occasions I have a power issue that causes my hard drive to mess up. So my question is does this devices handle sudden shut offs or power issues?”

I play on PC, but I've experienced power outages while playing directly from the drive and haven't noticed any problem.
