• Yes it is, but you will loose a lot of storage space. What I did with my PS4 is I bought a 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive. My PS4 boots and loads faster and you have 1TB of storage.

• So the PS4 uses a 2.5 hard drive. Looked at the size of the hdd and yes it's 2.5.
