- Answer Yes it is, but you will loose a lot of storage space. What I did with my PS4 is I bought a 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive. My PS4 boots and loads faster and you have 1TB of storage.

QuestionCan I clone my Toshiba 1TB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s onto this drive? Will it improve my current performance? The specs say 768 MB/sec max but the summary says 'data tfr up to 6GB'. So I'm wondering if this drive would actually be slower than my current Toshiba.

QuestionIs this an older drive with NASware 2.0 as shown in the picture? Western Digital no longer sells NASware 2.0 drives and hasn't for some time. Is this a WD RED drive with NASware 3.0, the current/newest version?
