It's a 5400 RPM drive. My use of a NAS is primarily archival, so I'm more interested in reliability rather than speed.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.These are 5400, good for a NAS, but not great for a desktop. They don't come in 7k, 10k or 15k unfortunately. Most mechanical "NAS" drives use this speed to save overall power since there are usually many of these drives per unit.
