I think the basic difference is the RPM. The Red NAS PRO is 7200rpm, the Red NAS is only 5400rpm. I believe both are NAS or enterprise drives though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the Pro version are 7200 RPM and the non-pro are 5400 RPM. Also the Pro have a 5 year warranty, and the non-pro have a 3 year warranty. The Pro are rated for higher workload. There are other differences, but those are the main ones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.7200 RPM on Pro VS 5400 on standard, Larger cache on 6TB and below, and longer warranty of 5 years on Pro VS 3 years on standard. If you are doing multimedia or enterprise backup, it's really worth it. The warranty alone is worth it in my opinion
