• Yes it would work fine with a ps4 pro, its a usb drive it would be limited by the usb 3 port on your ps4 pro but you would gain some loading time over the drive that ships with the ps4 pro.

• Yes, but you will get much reduced speeds due to the limits of the PS4 Pro, which is USB 3.1 Gen1 or roughly 500MB/s max throughput.
