QuestionWhat does this plug into? Where is the charging base? I'm really interested in buying this, but really need more information.

- Answer There is no charging base - it has batteries. You're supposed to wear it around you neck like a pendant so if you fall or can't get to the phone you can call one of your emergency contacts ... if none of your contacts answer, it then calls 911 ...you need the vtech phone for it to work with ...

QuestionElderly parents have the SN6197 full phone system and everything still works well except for the pendant. The caller on the receiving end can barely hear anything from the pendant user. this model is not being manufactured , any suggestions. Thank you.

- Answer Katymac - Thank you for showing your interest with the VTech SN7022. The VTech SN7022 is compatible with the VTech SN5147 and SN5127. The said phone systems can have up to 30 SOS pendants. - Answer Yes - you can set it up with a few emergency contacts to call 1st - if they don't answer, it will then call 911
