Hi, great question! When using the probes, be sure to route the wire where it will not be exposed to flames or temperatures exceeding 716° F (380° C). Please also avoid exposing the probes to temperatures below -22° F (-30° C). Temperatures below -22° F (-30° C) or above 572° F (300° C) will not display in the app and will cause the probes to disappear from the connection. The colored probe indicators are not intended to be touched with bare hands while using the grill, as they are not heat-insulated. We also recommend our fans to wear heat-resistant gloves at all times. Please let us know if you need any additional assistance.
