Q: QuestionCan the probe tell the temperature of the grill grate surface? I don’t trust the thermometer on the hood

• A:Answer Hi Mike! This app-connected thermometer allows you to monitor the doneness of up to four cuts of meat, from beginning to end, and notifies you on your smart device once food has reached the perfect temperature to serve. It will not tell you the temperature of the grates.

Q: QuestionHow will the probes handle flareups and ongoing fire under the hood? Will anything melt or burn on the probes?

• A:Answer Hi, great question! When using the probes, be sure to route the wire where it will not be exposed to flames or temperatures exceeding 716° F (380° C). Please also avoid exposing the probes to temperatures below -22° F (-30° C). Temperatures below -22° F (-30° C) or above 572° F (300° C) will not display in the app and will cause the probes to disappear from the connection. The colored probe indicators are not intended to be touched with bare hands while using the grill, as they are not heat-insulated. We also recommend our fans to wear heat-resistant gloves at all times. Please let us know if you need any additional assistance.

Q: QuestionHow does this work with meats that you normally flip during cooking (i.e., burgers, steaks, chicken breasts, etc.)? Do you only cook them on one side for the entire duration?

• A:Answer Hi John! The iGrill app will walk you through how to probe different types of foods! Typically, you would probe them from the sides, not from the top, that way, you can flip your foods!
