• A booster doesn’t create cell signal. It picks up the outside cell signal (no matter how weak) and amplifies it inside your vehicle for better talk, text, and data. The improvement of any cell signal depends on the distance from the nearest cell tower.

• First of all GPS doesn't use cell service or internet. You could use a tablet or phone with no internet connection and no Sim card/cell plan and gps would work fine.. GPS uses satellites... Not cell towers. It will increase your cellular service range though, and yes that includes Verizon.
