I have a three year plan that I purchased with my new Mac

the free webroot from Best Buy is only 6 months. It used to be a year but no anymore. When the webroot wants you to renew just uninstall it. Now go to www.download.com and get a free antivirus for your computer or your phone.

I was told coverage is 24 months. You have to renew not auto renewal at the end of 24 months

I had the same Webroot security program installed at Best Buy when I had my laptop repaired and it lasts for 1 year.

It depends. The original coverage is 12 months for 3 devices. However, if you buy a protection plan (for me it is well worth the money) the antivirus is is extended for the life of the plan. So a 3-year protection plan means 3 years subscription to Webroot, a 2-year plan means you are covered for two years.

HOWEVER, if you purchased a protection plan (I do because for me they are well worth the money) then the antivirus is extended for the life of the protection plan. SO, if you buy a 3-year protection plan, it is good for 3 years, 2-year plan; two years.
