• It did on my Pc. But I had to boot up in Safe mode. Only if the virus will let you in far enough to install the program. Fortunately mine did. But remember you can usually get in and install in Safe mode

• My computer was brand new and didn't have any virus but it's plausible that it will eliminate all the virus in a computer

• No but 99% of the time you DO NOT want a second anti virus on a device because they can "Attack" each other... But to answer your question no it will not
