• yes, I used it on my laptop that is over 8 yrs old and it worked great, The computer had a whole lot of viruses and now they are gone. just a warning though, the more viruses you have the longer it takes fix it to complete scan, my laptop kept overheating so that slowed the process down. it took about 11 hours
