Hi, The answer to your question depends on what type of customer you are with Best Buy. If you are a Best Buy Assurance customer, your renewal should happen automatically as your subscription to Best Buy Assurance is a rolling one. If you are an "off-the-shelf" Best Buy customer, you can renew online or over the phone, or you can buy a new copy of the software. If you buy a new copy as per your question, it technically would be a new subscription rather than a renewal, so you would have to enter your new Keycode. Yes it can. Through the geek squad @ Best buy . I just prefer to have my own hard copy.

All programs can be renewed on line and most companies offer that with a discount. I never do that even thought the price is less. I like to have the DVD in my hand even though I pay the regular price at Best Buy. That way if I have the need to re-install it if I have computer problem, I have all my DVD's for all my programs and can re-install all of them at home without paying some one else to do it. You will save some when you go on line to renew but you do not have the DVD.
