No, BuffaloBob. Our Wemo App does not support controlling Wemo devices in multiple locations using one handheld device. If you have two homes at a different location with Wemo devices in them, then you may need to secure another handheld device to control one of the locations.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have turned off the switch from several states away from the app and it still works. So i believe you do not need to be connected to the WiFi to make it work. Only to make routine edits would you need to be local i think.
