No, it only supplies power. Your garage door uses different signaling via your door buttons or your remotes. Turning power on and off to the opener will not open your garage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the garage plugs into a standard outlet, then it should recieve power but the Wemo just turn power on and off. The functionality of the door opening and closing is a part B function once turned on. I don't think this will work as you intend. You would essentially only be providing power on and off to your unit. NOT controling the doors functionality once it is given power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I like this idea. I’d like to deactivate my garage door opener at night bc one of my vehicles is kept outside the garage. It has a garage door opener installed in the vehicle. That way someone can’t break into my car and open the garage while I’m asleep. I wonder if it will disrupt the rotating code?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think that will work. Wemo only controls on and off or power to the garage door opener, to open the garage door you still need to send the garage door opener a signal to open or close the door.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device just turns power off and on so it wouldn’t control your garage door other than shutting power off to it when you are vacationing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It would only provide or stop power. To open and close you need something like myQ.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think garage doors work like that as they need an opener to tell the unit to open and close. It’s best to look into the smart openers if you want that capability.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This is more for lights and small appliances.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For as long as the device that you're going to plug into the Wemo Mini will fall under its system requirements, then it should work, Patty. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the amperage on you opener is 15amps or less!! I would not do it. Just remember, if your internet goes down so does the device and your door won’t open.
