• You technically could, but I would not as there is still the possibility of moisture affecting this. It's not designed for that.

• While it is covered the outside is no place for this smart plug. Morning dew and outside weather would break down the smart plug. As it’s not meant to weather the storm so to speak. Because of the fluctuating weather and temperatures.

• I have some outside under the roof. No rain is going directly over them. Works great on summer/winter.
