Can it be remotely activated through the Internet? null

Yes... I have turned on household appliances from various locations around the world. Lots of fun to mess with family members!! Lol

I haven't tested the new ones that I bought but I was able to turn lights on and off from the my daughter's home which is about 350 miles away and also from the parking lot of a grocery store about 8 miles away with my old one.
