• No remote. You can turn on/off using the phone app. Can also set up with Alexa, HomeKit, Google and use that way.

• You can control it with an app on your smartphone (same app you use to set it up) and with Google Home and Amazon Alexa devices. Google Home treats the lamp plugged into the Wemo just like it does smart home light bulbs.
