• Yes. My Grandson uses it to play Xbox games. The picture and sound are clear and flow very well. Doesn't seam to have any pixel chatter in the picture.

• If your video game player has HDMI or composite outputs, yes you can send the picture and sound to this TV. You cannot play video game programs directly on the TV itself, however (it's not a smart TV).
