“My daughter needs a smart tv for college that does not utilize a cast feature. At some point the tv coaxial ports will be deactivated & they will need to stream. It specifically says no roku sticks and some smart tvs w/cast features. Does this have cast?”

With this TV you can download apps for your streaming content and they connect over your wifi internet connection. With a smart device with those apps loaded you can choose your content and then with a single click signal the TV to play that content.
