I don't have the extended warranty on this tv but have had an extended warranty on the main tv in our house. When that tv quit, they replaced the tv with a comparable tv. It wasn't the same but it was a slight upgrade from the first one. Hope this helps!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We had no problem in setting this TV up because it is very similar to the several SanyoTV/DVD player units that we already have in our home. Because of that we did not feel the need to purchase the extra warranty from Best Buy.
