A:Answerit has a USB port but i was not able to download videos and put them in there that way, however i just hook my laptop up to the tv via one of the HDMI ports and works great to watch movies that way
A:AnswerIt sounds like the limitation is with your DVR box. If your DVR box can output a DTV signal, the TV can decode that signal up to 1080p. If your DVR is only sending a standard picture over the coax, the TV is using all it gets to give you the best picture that it is given.
