• The speakers are turned off when you plug in headphones.

• The speakers get turned off when setting the audio to the headphone option. I have an older sound bar (no HDMI port) so I connect through the headphone jack. If I turn off the sound bar, I get no sound. To get sound restored I have to reset the audio settings by turning off the headphone option.
