Probably because the refresh rate is 60hz, meaning 60 times per second, vs. 120 or even 240 for higher end TVs. I just bought a Samsung 4k TV with a 240 refresh rate, but it was also 4X the cost for the same size. So, for our rec room, I'm taking a chance on this TV. I'm not a gamer, and I suspect it's with video games you'd actually notice a real difference. But I do expect a slight difference i.e. maybe a little bit of motion blur with fast-paced sports and movie action scenes. But for this price and based on current reviews, I think it's worth a shot. Just know what to expect.

Televisions always go on sale during the holidays. The TV works great, just as well as higher end brands that we have in our house. Whatever the reason is, you can't go wrong

my boy is big in this kinda stuff and said the brand is good. games on pro run 30 to 60 fps and my old tv was 60 hrtz and tomb raider runs and looks greats. Can always take bacl if it sucks.

It's cheap because it will not last long. Mine is toast after 13 months. No warranty after 12 months. I would suggest a better brand. This TV has a lot of complaints online.

It's a no name but has good features.

It's 2160p not 1080... Read the description and specifications, it takes 10 seconds!

It doesn't have HDMI 2.0, and it isn't a very smart smart TV. No android or anything, limited app selection- overall the TV IS very cheap.. I paid $285 for mine and I still feel like I overpaid.
